Survived by wife, Jayne; son, Jay Ball and friend, Bette Norton; daughters and son-in-law, Jodi Carter, and Jill and Mark Goodrich; five grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Memorials to the Omaha Schools Foundation.


Padre Pio Mass Dec. 9

Padre Pio prayer group Mass and meeting will take place Saturday, Dec. 9 at Immaculate Conception Church, 24th and Bancroft St., Omaha. Rosary and prayers at 8:30 a.m., Mass at 9 a.m., meeting with Christmas potluck after Mass in the church basement.

A Time to Heal, A Wellness Program, Begins in February

A Time to Heal, a 12-week wellness program for women who have completed breast cancer treatment, is set to begin in February. Spiritual, emotional, physical and psychological recovery will be addressed during the series. Classes will be held 6:15-8:45 p.m. at the Servite Center of Compassion, 7400 Military Ave., Omaha.
