Marian alum to present documentary on conflict in Uganda

Emily Nohner, a 2003 graduate of Marian High School in Omaha, will be at Marian Wednesday, Nov. 22, from 10 a.m. to noon speaking with Marian sutdents about the crisis in Uganda.

Included in the discussion will be a brief documentary she created while working and living with families in war-torn Uganda and Rwanda while participating in the Peace and Conflict Studies Program.

Since her return, Nohner is one of just 75 college juniors around the nation to win the highly competitive 2006 Truman Scholarship. She is the only student to be recognized from Nebraska.
