President of Catholic Charities USA impressed with Omaha

As president of Catholic Charities USA, Father Larry Snyder is well aware of the problems facing immigrants in this country.

But he told the Catholic Voice Wednesday, Jan. 31, he sees those issues being addressed head-on in Omaha.

"You see the Juan Diego Center, which is so welcoming and working so hard to try to help immigrants get legalized," Father Snyder said. "It is an amazing thing and a great sign of hope."

Father Snyder toured the Juan Diego Center and the Omaha Campus for Hope during a three-day visit to Omaha, beginning Jan. 30.
