Knowles Mercy Center celebrates 20th anniversary

Knowles Mercy Spirituality Center in Waterloo will celebrate its 20th anniversary Sunday, June 3. Father Tom Ward will preside at an 11 a.m. Mass and a picnic lunch will follow from 12:30-2 p.m. on the grounds, located near 280th and West Center Road.

Families are welcome.

St. Vincent de Paul Society to hold regional meeting in Omaha

The Omaha Council of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul will host the Midwest Regional Meeting June 8-9 at the College of Saint Mary at the College of Saint Mary in Omaha.

The theme of the meeting is "Vincentians - Growing in God's Love".

Members of the St. Vincent de Paul Society from seven states have been invited to participate in this two-day meeting.

Vincentians will have an opportunity to meet other members from the Midwest, share ideas, build friendships and improve their spiritual relationship with God.
