Arts at the ARCC Presents The Mikado July 12 - 15

Arts at the ARCC will present the Mikado, Thursday, July 12 through Saturday, July 14 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, July 15 at 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., at the Archdiocesan Retreat and Conference Center, 3330 N. 60th St., Omaha. Christian Discoveries travel experience in Washington, D.C.

Students from St. Francis School in Humphrey and Holy Family School in Lindsay participated in a Christian Discoveries student travel experience in Washington, D.C. June 3-6. Under the direction of Darron Arlt, St. Francis principal, the trip included the cathedrals and national shrine, as well as discovery of the Christian heritage of the founding of the United States.

Our Lady of Guadalupe awards presented June 13

The Institute for Priestly Formation presented its highest award, the medallion of Our Lady of Guadalupe, June 13 to Bishop Samuel Aquila of the Diocese of Fargo, Father Joe Kelly from Bronx, N.Y., and Dr. Margarett Schlientz from New Berlin, Wis. Congratulating the winners are, from left, Father Richard Gabuzda, Father John Horn, SJ, Dr. Schlientz, Bishop Aquila, Father Kelly, Father George Aschenbrenner, SJ, and Kathleen Kanavy. "These outstanding individuals have contributed immensely to the growth and flourishing of IPF's mission," said Father Gabuzda, IPF executive director.
