Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Colonel LeRoy and Sue Foreman, Virginia.; daughter and son-in-law, Lora and John Payne, Colorado; granddaughter; three step-granddaughters; three step-great-grandchildren; siblings and spouses, Bess Nansel, Columbus, Edmund Galus, Frances and Edward Chlebinski, Henry and Alice Galus, California, and Mary Wszalek, Wisconsin; nieces; nephews.

Madonna School receives $40,000 grant

Madonna School in Omaha has received a $40,000 grant from the McAuley Ministry Fund. This grant provides funds for Madonna School's Scholarship Fund and for additional promotions and recruiting activities that will enable the school to reach and serve additional students who can benefit from Catholic special education programs.

Madonna School has served the Omaha community for more than 47 years. In June 2004, the school moved to a modern, handicap-accessible building that provides increased classroom space and better facilities for students.
