Quilts of biblical proportion coming to Omaha

Art and religion have gone hand in hand for hundreds of years.

That tradition continues in August at the Cathedral Cultural Center in Omaha, but instead of the typical statues and paintings, two exhibits will feature hand-made quilts with biblical themes.

Two traveling shows - Women of Biblical Proportion and Men of Biblical Proportion - will be presented back to back, opening Aug. 3.
