St. Philip Neri Parish's Annual Fall Festival - Sept. 23

St. Philip Neri Parish's Annual Fall Festival will take place Sunday, Sept. 23, noon to 9 p.m. at the church, 8200 N. 30th St., Omaha. Festivities include a $1,000 raffle, silent auction, bingo, carnival rides and games. Foods include surfside chicken, grilled hamburgers, Italian sausages and more. FireSong 2007 - Sept. 19

FireSong 2007, a free performance/workshop for music directors, musicians, worship leaders, liturgists, cantors and choir members in the Archdiocese of Omaha and surrounding areas, will be Wednesday, Sept. 19, 7 p.m. at St. Gerald Church, 96th and Q, Omaha. Hosted by Light the Fire music and singer/songwriter team Cher and Gene Klosner. They will suggest ways to freshen up music ministry and will review selections of their Mass settings, responsorial psalms for the Advent/Christmas season and introduce new responsorial psalms for Ordinary Time.
