A Day...JUST FOR YOU! - Sept. 27

A Day...JUST FOR YOU!, a day retreat, is set for Thursday, Sept. 27, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Knowles Mercy Spirituality Center, 2304 Campanile Road, Waterloo. Opening prayer at 9 a.m. Day includes yoga, massage, reiki, and spiritual direction. Walk the grounds, enjoy the labyrinth and meditation deck, relax, reflect and renew your spirit. Praying the Labyrinth - Oct. 17

Praying the Labyrinth, a day retreat, will take place Wednesday, Oct. 17, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Knowles Mercy Spirituality Center, 2304 Campanile Road, Waterloo. The labyrinth is an ancient form of walking meditation. During the day, the background, meanings and how-tos of the labyrinth will be explored with emphasis on experiencing walking an outdoor Labyrinth. There also will be opportunities for quiet reflection, journaling and prayer together. Sister Jean Sitter, RSM, will facilitate. Cost of $30 includes program and lunch.
