Understanding Marriage Annulments in the Catholic Church, an information session, will take place Thursday, Oct. 18, 7 p.m. in the family room at St. Patrick Church, Fremont. Mission Fair - Oct. 21

A Mission Fair is set for Sunday, Oct. 21, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Stephen the Martyr Parish's dining room, 16701 S. St., Omaha. Find out about local service opportunities. Sign up to volunteer and get involved. Organizations to be represented include Catholic Charities, Open Door Mission, American Red Cross, YWCA, The Stephen Center, Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging and Nebraska Children's Home Society.

Life Chain - Oct. 7

Preceded in death by parents, Agnes and Ed Kalkowski; son, Matthew. Survived by husband, Jack; children and spouses, Cathy and Dave Thompson, Williamson, N.Y., Mike and Leslie Peterson, Chris and Laurie Peterson, and Mark Smith, Denver, Colo., and Ken and Kelly Peterson, Eagle; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Donald J. and Shirley; daughter and son-in-law, Jeannine and Ronald Canuso, Kelley, Iowa; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Florian "Gus" Kudlacz; nieces; nephews.
