Families should have traditions to celebrate Christmas season

When it comes to Christmas traditions, Father Pat McCaslin, pastor of St. John Vianney Church in Omaha, believes one thing is most important - that families have them.

If a family doesn't have a tradition, they should work to create one, he said.

"The secular world really pushes us the other way, so families need to make sure they hold on for dear life to the importance of the season and remember to spend it together," Father McCaslin said.
