Croatian Cultural Society Fish Fry

Croatian Cultural Society Fish Fry will take place every Friday of Lent, including Good Friday, 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Croatian Cultural Society Hall, 8711 S. 36th St., Bellevue. Menu will include baked and fried fish, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw, French fries or baked potatoes, coffee and dessert. Cost is $7.50 for adults; $4 for children ages 5-10.

Married Couples Jesuit Weekend Retreat - March 7-9

Married Couples Jesuit Weekend Retreat will be March 7-9 at St. Benedict Center, Schuyler. Directed by Father Larry Gillick, SJ, and sponsored by the Jesuit Partnership Council of Omaha. Cost of $275 per couple includes two nights lodging, meals and all retreat expenses. Space limited. St. Clare Secular Franciscan Fraternity meeting will be Feb. 17 in the New Cassel Retirement Center auditorium, 900 N. 90th St., Omaha. Initial formation at 11 a.m.; small-group conversations at 1 p.m.; fraternity prayer at 2:15 p.m. Social time will follow. Practicing Catholics 18 and older are invited to explore the lay Franciscan way of life and share simple ways of incorporating prayer into daily life.
