Small-town atmosphere makes Croatian Cultural Society's fish fry worth the stop

I wasn't sure what to expect when I walked into the Croatian Cultural Society of Omaha's hall March 7 for its fish fry dinner. I'd never been to the building before and I have no Croatian blood in my family history. The fact that it wasn't a Catholic parish like the other fish fries I had visited so far this Lent also made me wonder if anyone would be familiar with the Catholic Voice.
