"Growing Roots, Building Tradition, Bearing Fruit," a parenting and breastfeeding conference sponsored by La Leche League of Nebraska, will be held April 19, 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 8320 South St., Lincoln. Father Gary Smith, SJ - April 8

Father Gary Smith, SJ, whose journals and letters became the book "They Came Back Singing", will speak April 8, 7 p.m. in room 120 of the Rigge Science Building at Creighton University, Omaha. Connecting with Mother Earth - April 6

Connecting with Mother Earth will be held April 6, 2-5 p.m. at Servite Center of Compassion, 7400 Military Ave., Omaha. It will conclude a series of discussions hosted by Omaha's Women of Spirit. The series, Wisdom Circles: What Feeds Our Spirits, is exploring multi-faith differences in an effort to discover common ground. Three women of different faith perspectives will introduce the session and share how each connects to Mother Earth and how that impacts their spiritual lives. Cost is $20. Paid advance registration is required; seating is limited.

Personality and Spirituality - March 27 and April 3

Personality and Spirituality will be presented March 27 and April 3, 7-9 p.m. at Servite Center of Compassion, 7400 Military Ave., Omaha. Presenter will be Sister Margaret Stratman, OSM. This two-part presentation uses the Myers Briggs Personality Indicator to explore individual personality preferences and how they impact our spirituality. Cost is $25 for both sessions.
