Catholic Homeschool Association of Omaha - June 12

Catholic Homeschool Association of Omaha is set to hold its annual Curriculum Fair and Seminar June 12, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Center. Topics for the Seminar include Homeschooling for Beginners, What about High School, and Homeschooling Special Needs Children. Sign up for fall events and bring your used curriculum to sell. College of Saint Mary Student Scholars' Day - April 30

College of Saint Mary Student Scholars' Day is set for April 30, 9 a.m. at Walsh and Mercy Halls on the CSM campus. Students share what they are learning with the community through in-depth research presentations. The students work with businesses and industries in their chosen career fields to complete their projects. Presentations are free and open to the public. Lunch and musical entertainment will also be available on the Hixson-Lied plaza at noon for a cost of $5.25 per person.

CSM Summer Camps for Girls - June through July

CSM Summer Camps for Girls, sponsored by the College of Saint Mary, are set for June 23-27 for ages 12-15, Grey's Anatomy; July 7-11 for ages 6-11, Girls rock; July 7-11 for ages 12-15, Legal Eagles; and July 28 through Aug. 1 for ages 9-11, Jr. Zoologists. Also offered will be volleyball, basketball and swimming. Registration deadline is May 15. For more details, visit www.csm.edu/camps.

Celebrating 100 Years of Faith, Tradition and Education Assumption Guadalupe Catholic School - May 16-17-18

Celebrating 100 Years of Faith, Tradition and Education in South Omaha's Assumption Guadalupe Catholic School is set for May 16, beginning with a Golf Tournament Noon Shotgun Start, May 17, 5 p.m. Centennial Mass at Assumption Church followed by a reception and dinner for Alumni, Benefactors and Friends of Assumption Guadalupe. May 18, 10:30 a.m. Mass at Assumption with Czech Festival from noon till ??? Traditional Pork or Duck and dumpling dinner with kolaches, games and music for the whole family. Corson; parents, James and Ruth Peterson; brother, Leo Peterson; infant children, Ann and Mary. Survived by daughter, Barbara L. Corson, St. Cloud, Minn.; son and daughter-in-law, Rev. James A. and Allison Corson; three grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Robert and Ethel Peterson, and Richard Peterson, all of Northglenn, Colo.
