Former pastor pleads guilty to theft by deception June 11

Father Rodney Adams, former pastor of St. Bridget and St. Rose parishes in Omaha, plead guilty to the charge of theft by deception in Douglas County District Court June 11.

Father Adams, former director of the archdiocese's urban permanent diaconate program, turned himself in to the Omaha Police Department prior to his court appearance. The archdiocese has accused him of embezzling more than $83,000 from St. Bridget Parish.
