Life in the Holy Spirit Seminar - Sept. 7

Life in the Holy Spirit Seminar will be Sept. 7, noon to 8 p.m. at St. Isidore School, 3921 20th St., Columbus. Seminar is open to children, adolescents and adults. A meal will be offered. The First Act - Aug. 24

"The First Act," based on community worship of the Eucharist, will be Aug. 24, 7 p.m. at St. James Church, 4710 N. 90th St., Omaha. The service, which is about one hour in length, includes contemporary Catholic worship and praise music along with the community adoration of the Eucharist. Columban Fathers' 13th Annual Golf Tournament - Sept. 13

Columban Fathers' 13th Annual Golf Tournament is set for Sept. 13, 1:30 p.m. at Shoreline Golf Course, 210 Locust St, Carter Lake, Iowa. Sign up starts at 12:30 p.m. Cost is $60; price includes golf, cart, prizes and dinner. Dinner is $10. Registration deadline is Sept. 2. Make your own foursome or one can be organized for you.
