Knowles Mercy Spirituality Center "Christmas in the Forest" - Dec. 12 or 13

Knowles Mercy Spirituality Center "Christmas in the Forest" will be Dec. 12 or 13 at the center, 2304 Campanile Road, Waterloo. Walk into the Christmas Story, as you follow luminary-lined paths in the forest. Experience the manger and Holy Family, as individuals replay the roles of the Christmas story. Find the star of Bethlehem, sing carols and pray at the peace fire. End the evening with a cup of hot chocolate and cookies. Pilgrimages into the forest will take place every 20 minutes from 5-8 p.m. Suggested donation is $5 per person or $20 per family.

Knowles Mercy Spirituality Center "An Advent Journey," a guided retreat, is set for Dec. 5, 6:30 p.m. through Dec. 6, 4 p.m. Join us for an overnight retreat that refocuses our attention on the purpose and peace of Advent and Christmas. Make room for Grace "Women of the Gifting Spirit" is set for Nov. 15, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the College of St. Mary, Omaha. Day will focus on the giftedness of women in our church today. Featuring Susan Calef, professor of theology at Creighton University, Sister Marie Micheletto, RSM, psychologist, and Sister Maryanne Stevens, RSM, theologian and president of College of St. Mary. Cost of $45 includes lunch.
