15th Annual Markoe-DePorres Social Justice Lecture - Oct. 2

15th Annual Markoe-DePorres Social Justice Lecture is set for Oct. 2, 7:30 p.m. in Creighton University's Skutt Student Center Ballroom, Omaha. Lecture will feature a dialogue on war and peace between two Catholic public intellectuals, George Weigel and Father Drew Christiansen, SJ. Topic will be "The Challenge of Peace 25 Years Later: Landmark or Lost Opportunity? Has the U.S. Bishops' Teaching on War and Peace Made a Difference?" Sponsored by the Justice and Peace Studies Program and the Creighton College of Arts and Sciences.
