St. Richard's final Mass set for June 7

The final Mass at St. Richard Church, 4320 Fort St. in Omaha, will take place June 7 at 1 p.m. A reception will follow immediately in the social hall.

"We are hoping that anyone who was a part of the parish and school over the years will come back to celebrate what St. Richard has been for the North Omaha community," said Father Frank Baumert, pastor.

Father Baumert will preside at the closing Mass while Father Bob Smith will give the homily. Many priests who have served the parish will concelebrate.
