Benefit for Denny Novacek, a member of St. Thomas More Parish in Omaha, is set for Aug. 23, 3-8 p.m. at Firefighter's Union Hall, 6005 Grover St., Omaha. All proceeds will be donated to the Novacek family to help with the mounting medical expenses in Denny's fight against pancreatic cancer.
