New Roncalli Catholic leadership named

Roncalli Catholic High School will have two new leaders effective July 1, according to an announcement April 29 by the Archdiocese of Omaha.

Jeffrey Dempsey and Chad Holtz will succeed Father Lloyd Gnirk as president and principal of the Omaha school. Father Gnirk will serve as president emeritus. Father Gnirk said Dempsey and Holtz's experience will benefit the mission of Roncalli.

"Both men have a wealth of experience and energy, which will help Roncalli achieve its financial and educational goals now and for the future," he said in a news release.
