Archbishop George J. Lucas and priests of the Archdiocese of Omaha gathered April 20 to celebrate the milestone anniversaries of nine of their brother priests.
Father Roland Peschel, a retired priest of the archdiocese who is marking his 50th anniversary this year, was homilist for the Mass at St. Patrick Church in Fremont. The priests gathered for a jubilee dinner after the Mass.
Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann of Kansas City, Kan., spoke at a special event preceding the jubilee in celebration of the Year for Priests.
