Survived by wife, Jeanette; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Lisa Sterba; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Mark Thielen, Joyce and Bob Barbati, and Barb Novacek; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Knudsen; brother, Larry Sterba. Memorials to Holy Family Shrine or Newman Center in Lincoln.
