First draft of parish-school study prompts wide discussion

A first draft of proposed mergers and collaboration among schools and parishes in east Omaha released this month is being widely discussed by pastors, school leaders, parishioners and school parents.

The discussion is part of the process.

Archdiocesan officials have been meeting with parish and school leaders since June, when the study began, and those leaders have been encouraged to gather comment from other parishioners and school parents.
