Archbishop ordains two to priesthood

Standing on the front steps of St. Cecilia Cathedral in Omaha after their June 2 ordination, Fathers Jim Netusil and Greg Carl joined their brother priests in a hymn to Mary, the mother of God.

After asking Mary's protection and intercession, the new priests gave their first blessings - to Archbishop George J. Lucas, who knelt before them on the cathedral steps.

Only moments before, Archbishop Lucas had laid his hands on their heads and anointed their hands, ordaining them priests.
