Bottled water, donations needed in Macy

Bottled water and money to purchase water are needed in Macy and surrounding rural areas on the Omaha Indian Reservation, where people could be without drinking water for two weeks because of a water main break.

The Omaha Tribal Council has declared it a disaster area, and the Archdiocese of Omaha is helping alert people to the need. Our Lady of Fatima Parish is in Macy.

Donations can be sent to Omaha Tribe Emergency Management, 303 Main St., Walthill, NE 68067 or call 402-846-5374.

For more information, call 402-922-2652.
