Pro-Life Essay Contest: Brian Hula, then-a junior, homeschooled in Omaha

2013 is a momentous year for Catholics throughout our nation. This year is the Year of Faith, a time when Catholics are called to more fully enter into their faith. But this year is also the 40th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, the ruling that legalized abortion in America. Since then, abortion has claimed the lives of over 50 million children in this country and become the catalyst for the culture of death. But all is not lost - by individually living out the teaching of the church, we will be able to gradually build up a culture of life in America.

Pro-Life Essay Contest: Stefano Tarantolo, then-a sophomore at Mount Michael Benedictine High School, Omaha
