V.J. and Angela Skutt Catholic High School in Omaha held a Community Involvement Day Oct. 2, with projects that included students creating 25 care packages for chemotherapy patients.
Each package had practical items such as hand sanitizer and lotion, lemon drops and lip balm.
Students also made prayer shawls and added prayer cards for each package. As they worked, the students prayed for the patient, health care team, family and friends.
