Redemptorist priest served in Omaha as associate pastor of hometown parish

Redemptorist Father William Parker, who grew up in Holy Name Parish in Omaha and later served four years as associate pastor there, died of cancer April 22 in Liguori, Mo. He was 67.

A 5 p.m. visitation and 7 p.m. wake will be held April 28 at John A. Gentleman Mortuaries, 1010 N. 72nd St. in Omaha. Father Parker's funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. April 29 at Holy Name Church, 2901 Fontenelle Blvd., Omaha, with additional services April 30 and burial May 1 at the St. Clement Health Care Center in Ligouri.
