An estimated 8,000 people visited the five archdiocese cemeteries in Omaha on May 23-26 – Memorial Day weekend -- to pray at gravesites, worship at Mass and leave flowers and flags, said Jerry Broz, general manager of Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Omaha.
