People across the archdiocese are invited next month to a Mass and reception in Omaha to celebrate the 70th anniversary in the priesthood of retired Msgr. Peter Dunne, who served six parishes, has led several faith-based initiatives and is the last living priest to have worked at Boys Town with Servant of God Father Edward J.
Just two months after the effort began, 32 parishes have reached their goals for the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal, which helps the archdiocese extend its ministries to thousands of people in northeast Nebraska.
And many of those parishes are forging way ahead.
