Mass, reception to mark Msgr. Dunne’s 70 years of service in priesthood

People across the archdiocese are invited next month to a Mass and reception in Omaha to celebrate the 70th anniversary in the priesthood of retired Msgr. Peter Dunne, who served six parishes, has led several faith-based initiatives and is the last living priest to have worked at Boys Town with Servant of God Father Edward J.

Erin Artz reads a book in the student center’s Reflection Lounge at St. Norbert College near Green Bay, Wis., 570 miles from Omaha. A sophomore, Erin says commitment to cross country and track teams keeps her busy, but she is looking forward to being home with family and friends for Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving break means happy return to home and family

When Erin Artz of Holy Cross Parish in Omaha arrives home for Thanksgiving break after several months at college in Wisconsin, she’ll enter through the familiar side door, the one that leads three steps up into the kitchen.
