Schools mark 100 days with math challenges

First-graders at Holy Name School and St. Margaret Mary School, both in Omaha, were among students and schools
celebrating the 100th day of classes this month – and some teachers created a math challenge.

Mercy High School senior Shannon Jerram leaps into the air for "Pack the House" at a Jan. 30 home basketball game against Omaha rival Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart. About 400 fans filled the stands as Duchesne pulled away from Mercy for a 60-57 win.
