Preceded in death by husband, Henry Sr; daughter, Judith Kurtz; grandson, Steven Whitney; parents, Paul and Mabel Hackenholz; brother, William Hackenholz. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Henry Jr.

Gesu Housing helps rebuild north Omaha

Gesu Housing Inc., founded by Jesuit Brother Mike Wilmot, for 13 years has been transforming a north Omaha neighborhood by eliminating vacant lots and blighted houses and replacing them with new ones made affordable for the working poor.

New lighting, sound system, carpeting and tile are part of $1.4 million in renovations to St. Mary Church in Norfolk – changes celebrated this Easter when the congregation returned to the worship space after five months away.
