Survived by daughters, Denise Floersch, Battlelake, Minn., Diana Kennedy, Kansas City, Mo., Barbara Ingraham, Phoenix, Ariz., Linda Kennedy, and Colleen Kennedy; family; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.

Thousands mourn with fallen police officer’s family

Thousands of people, including law enforcement officials from across the country, gathered May 26 at St. John Church, the CenturyLink Center Omaha and along a procession route downtown to remember fallen Omaha police officer Kerrie Orozco. 

Officer Orozco was fatally shot May 20 by a fugitive while trying to serve a warrant.
