  • Nov. 7: 6 p.m. Planetarium and dinner night at Mallory Kountze Planetarium at University of Nebraska at Omaha, 6001 Dodge St., then to Applebee’s, 7450 Dodge St., both in Omaha. Parking is available in campus lots on weekends. Cost $3 per person.

  • Oct. 17: 6 p.m. Cosmic bowling and dinner night at Fuddruckers, 7059 Dodge St., then to West Lanes Bowling, 151 N. 72nd St., both in Omaha. Cost $3.90 per frame and $3.25 shoes.  

Holy Family Shrine “Walk of Faith 2015”

Holy Family Shrine “Walk of Faith 2015”: Oct. 17, 8:30 a.m. at 4-H Camp near Schramm Park with a six-mile prayer walk to Holy Family Shrine, Gretna. Reconciliation 11 a.m., Mass at noon. Visit the web at hfsgretna.org. Banners and flags are encouraged in honor of the Holy Family and in support of the 2015 World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia. Shuttle service available back to the 4-H Camp.
