Boys Town honors archdiocesan priest

Father James Novotny, pastor of Holy Family Parish in Lindsay, was honored by Boys Town Sept. 27 with the Spirit of Father Flanagan Award for his dedication to the education of children and families.

The Priests trio to perform at Catholic ministry benefit

A concert in Omaha Nov. 28 featuring The Priests musical trio will benefit two Catholic education ministries – the St. Augustine Indian Mission elementary school in Winnebago and Christian Urban Education Services (CUES) in Omaha.

As the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy proclaimed by Pope Francis draws to a close, Catholics are reminded to continue making mercy and forgiveness part of their lives.
