Leading With Faith Awards Luncheon: March 9, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Scott Conference Center, 6450 Pine St., Omaha. Archbishop George J. Lucas will present Leading with Faith Awards to business people selected from a field of nominees. Speaker is Dominick Albano, a team leader for Dynamic Catholic. Cost $25. Prayer line connects Clearwater parishioners to faith, one another

Overwhelmed by the prayerful support she received during a near-fatal battle with breast cancer, Mary Ann Thiele decided 35 years ago she wanted to help others at St. Theresa of Avila Parish in Clearwater receive similar assistance.

Archbishop Lucas, students celebrate Catholic Schools Week Mass

About 1,200 eighth-grade students from Omaha-area Catholic schools joined Archbishop George J. Lucas to celebrate faith and education in a special way Feb. 2 – with the archbishop presiding at the annual Mass celebrating Catholic Schools Week at St. Cecilia Cathedral in Omaha.
