World Series trophy at The Gathering

More than 970 people – a record crowd – got a good look at the Chicago Cubs’ World Series championship trophy as they helped raised more than $550,000 to support three inner-city schools in Omaha April 8 at the 35th annual The Gathering in La Vista.

Family starts anew at Easter Vigil

Four years ago, Cassandra Jimenez accepted the invitation of a friend to attend her local Presbyterian church.
