Norfolk parish spurs evangelizers

Sacred Heart Parish in Norfolk is leading the way toward embracing a new model of evangelization in the Omaha archdiocese.


Ron and Janet Burbach have endured more than their share of adversity: two serious accidents followed by the death of a child. Yet, through their trust in God and repeated assistance from Holy Trinity parish in Hartington, the farming couple has emerged stronger than ever.

Trials, faith response inspire couple to give

A 1,400-pound alfalfa bale fell on top of Ron Burbach while he was using a large machine on his farm near Hartington to grind hay bales into finer livestock feed.
