Archbishop George J. Lucas celebrates Mass for an international congregation Oct. 29 in the Grotto of the Apparitions at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes in Lourdes, France. Honoring veterans

Mary Bezy of St. Mary Parish in Bellevue is wrapped in a "Quilt of Valor" by two women with the Iowa-based Quilt of Valor Foundation. Bezy, 96, an Army nurse in World War II, was among five World War II veterans and a veteran wounded in Iraq honored with quilts Nov. 10 at St. Mary School’s Veterans Day assembly.
