Catholic Voice wins NPA awards
The Catholic Voice, the official newspaper for the Archdiocese of Omaha, won two awards at the 2006 Nebraska Press Association Convention in Lincoln.
Associate Editor Lisa Schulte placed second in the 2006 Better Newspaper Competition in the Photo Page Category for her two-page pictorial feature on sculptor John Lajba entitled 'Finding Inspiration from God's Creation."
The newspaper also was awarded third place in the Specialty Page Category for its emphasis on senior living. Advertising Manager Deacon Randy Grosse, Graphic Designer Shannon Tarvin and Schulte worked on the project.
