Educator appointed to national association
Dr. Dave Peters, principal of St. Stephen the Martyr School in Omaha, has been appointed to the National Catholic Educational Association's executive committee for elementary education.
Peters represents the elementary schools in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri.
"I am looking forward to working with Catholic administrators from all over the country and I think it will be rewarding and exciting to see what is happening in Catholic elementary schools," said Peters. "I also am looking forward to sharing the good news of how tremendous our Catholic schools are here in the Archdiocese of Omaha and throughout the Midwest."
The committee will meet several times a year and Peters also will write for various NCEA publications.
