Interfaith architecture tour set for March 18
One local synagogue and St. Cecilia Cathedral make up an interfaith architecture tour March 18 in Omaha.
The 1-5:30 p.m. event will begin at Beth Israel Synagogue, 12604 Pacific St., and continue to St. Cecilia Cathedral, 701 N. 40th St.
The afternoon will be spent exploring the role art and architecture play in shaping congregational life and practices in different religious traditions.
A community reception will be held at the Cathedral Cultural Center after the tour.
Architects may receive learning units from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for attending the event.
