Catholic Charities Lenten Food Drive

Catholic Charities is holding a Lenten food drive to benefit the Juan Diego Center and St. Martin de Porres Center food pantries in Omaha.

Items most needed are bags of rice, peanut butter, jelly, cereal, pancake mix, juices, boxed macaroni and cheese, Hamburger Helper and canned goods. However, any frozen meats, nonperishable food items and toiletries, such as toothbrushes, are welcome. Please do not include expired items.

The drive runs through April 17 and donations may be dropped off at either center Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monetary donations are also accepted and may be sent to the Catholic Charities office at 3300 N. 60th St., Omaha, NE 68104.
