Cemetery prayers

Third-grade teacher Cindy Nielsen of Archbishop Bergan School in Fremont leads 150 third- through sixth-graders in a rosary for the deceased Nov. 2 at Calvary Cemetery of St. Patrick Parish, also in Fremont. Special prayers for the dead, particularly during November, can bring indulgences to the souls in purgatory.
