Columbus groundbreaking

Father Michael Swanton, center, pastor of St. Bonaventure Parish in Columbus, joins members of the parish and general contractor May 19 to break ground for a new parish center and narthex. The project includes demolishing the current parish center, side chapel and maintenance garage, as well as renovations inside the church. During the project, which is targeted for completion in June 2020, Masses are being held in the cafeteria at Scotus Central Catholic Junior/Senior High School.
