Duchesne Academy celebrates tradition

About 525 people celebrated tradition at Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart’s annual Congé dinner and auction in Omaha.

 

The Feb. 10 event titled “We are Duchesne: The Tradition Continues” at the downtown Hilton Omaha included the school’s Sacré Choir performing the school song and live auction items, including club seats for a Minnesota Vikings game and an overnight school party. 

 

More than $790,000 was raised to help with the school’s operating budget and tuition assistance. The event’s chairmen were Scott and Cindy Heider and Lance and Jeanie Jones, all parishioners from Christ the King Parish in Omaha.
