Golf outing promotes community

More than 100 alumni, faculty, staff, volunteers and other supporters of V.J. and Angela Skutt Catholic High School in Omaha gathered for golf, fellowship and fun June 23.

Lunch, a noon shotgun start, cocktails, dinner, raffle and pin prizes at Tiburon Golf Course in Omaha were part of the community-building event for the school, which will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year, said Kristi Berger, a school spokeswoman.
