High school uses robots in class

Small, spherical robots with programmable movements are being used at Pope John XXIII Central Catholic High School in Elgin to work on coding and physics challenges, including calculating the balls’ time, speed and distance.

The Sphero Robots were purchased with donations from the school’s annual fundraising event and a matching corporate grant.
